I like to cook and can and do things in the kitchen. Last week we canned jalapenos and yesterday we made pita pockets. I had a lot of fun in the kitchen! They were good and I want to make them regularly. here is the recipe:

the baker
I made this bread all by myself. I have been wanting to make bread for a while now and it just hasn't been working out. I made some for grandma and grandpa too. Grandma said it was good. It is half white and half whole wheat and has nutmeg and sage in it. It is really really good. I'm going to be the house breadmaker. Mom is thrilled about that. Today I'm going to make cookies while mom paints next door.

Lion Brand Yarn is the website's name. If you set up an account you can get a whole bunch of free patterns for knitting, crocheting, and crafts. I printed out 5 new patterns, one is a sweater for the cats. Another one is for washcloths, which I plan to make soon. I got two sock patterns and one cardigan pattern. Check it out!
